Never miss Ducks4Life
EUGENE — Let’s run it back just one more time: That game-breaking downfield pass from Dylan Raiola to Dakorien Moore, punctuated by an open-field cut to the left and ending with a season-long 75-yard TD.
I know, I know, with No. 11 Ohio State looming this week, it’s time to move on from Oregon’s 34–26 win over Northwestern on Saturday.
But for the first time in eight games this season, we saw Oregon’s offense step onto the field with a first-down, Plan-A deep ball in mind. In a show of Oregon’s execution finally matching its ambition, these 2026 Ducks have been missing for so much of the season there it was: Open receiver, accurate throw, brilliant cut with one defender to beat for the game’s final scoring play. Truly a thing of beauty.
Whether by design or as fallout from the September injury to QB1 Dante Moore, those deep vertical strikes have been largely missing from Oregon’s passing game this year.
And these 2026 Ducks haven’t shown an explosive running game with any consistency either.
The Ohio State reality check will be here soon enough. So, in a season short on big-play offense from Oregon, let’s all take one last moment to enjoy that 75-yard scoring strike just one more time.
For the true Oregon fans who know football, here’s a breakdown of the 2026 Ducks’ biggest plays of the season:
