EUGENE — For Oregon fans who were rightfully tense about the USC game coming into last week, Saturday’s win over the visiting Trojans was a thing of beauty.
You could feel the relief sweep through Duck Nation past the first quarter, as Oregon stacked a few defensive stops and steadily built a lead.
The 42–27 final score over a ranked opponent gave Oregon some style points and kept the Ducks on pace to compete for the upper half of the CFP seeds.
Oregon closes the regular season with Duck Nation’s favorite rivalry matchup at Husky Stadium on Saturday.
Three-loss Washington is effectively out of the playoff conversation, but the Huskies would love to spoil Oregon’s momentum toward the postseason.
