Never miss a Ducks4Life update!
EUGENE β Hold off the celebration. Oregonβs No. 2 ranking in the preseason AP Top 25 is a target. Both a target for the 2026 Ducksβ definition of success and a target for every Oregon opponent this year.
The program-record preseason ranking puts the Ducks officially on the national championship clock, and this schedule gives them nowhere to hide.
Coming into the fifth season of the Dan Lanning era, the Oregon program has steadily improved:
2022: 10β3 (7β2 in Pac-12) Won the Holiday Bowl (vs. North Carolina)
2023: 12β2 (8β1 in Pac-12) Won the Fiesta Bowl (vs. Liberty)
2024: 13β1 (9β0 in Big Ten) Won the Big Ten Championship and reached the College Football Playoff (Rose Bowl vs. Ohio State)
2025: 13β2 (8β1 in Big Ten) Reached the College Football Playoff semifinals after winning two rounds, vs. JMU and Texas Tech (Orange Bowl)
Oregon opens with Boise State on Sept. 5, with an early road test at USC in Game 4 on Sept. 26.
